The Many Uses of Essential Oils
Aromatherapy oils have been used for centuries for therapeutic purposes. These essential oils are primarily extracted through steam distillation as well as cold pressing. Here are some of their uses for your home and physical wellness.

There are many different herbs to try such as pine, lavender, peppermint, or geranium.

You can even disinfect your kitchen surfaces by soaking a dishcloth in a bowl of water and adding a few drops of lemon oil. Eucalyptus is another natural sanitiser that works just as effectively

Modern living tends to increase stress levels. Lack of exercise, poor diet, and exposure to free radicals leave the body in turmoil. From weight management to cleansing, herbal oil-infused supplements provide the answer to an unbalanced lifestyle. Start by creating an aromatic space where you can fully relax. Put four or five drops of your favorite essential oil on a cotton ball and place it in the room or buy yourself an electric diffuser.

A few drops of Bergamot oil in half a cup of baking soda and apple cider vinegar will create an all-natural kitchen sink scrub. If your kitchen has an unpleasant odor, place 3 drops of Four Thieves oil on a cotton ball and leave it near the trash. The overpowering smell of this oil will minimize odors and kill germs at the same time.

To clean the carpet, add 5 drops of lavender and peppermint oil to baking soda. Mix this well and sprinkle over the carpet. Leave the mixture sit for half an hour or longer before vacuuming. Your living room will soon smell inviting and pleasant.

To eliminate cooking odors, add a few drops of clove bud oil to a simmering pan of water. You can also get rid of odors from the bathroom by placing a cotton ball soaked in Vetiver oil behind the toilet. For general cleaning purposes, mix a cup of apple cider vinegar with two cups of water and ten drops of dandelion oil in a spray bottle. This mixture is ideal for granite cleaning and general cleanliness.

To repel mice from your home, place six drops of peppermint on a cotton ball and place it at the entry door. This is the most natural pest control method. You can also keep flies away by mixing 20 drops of lavender in purified water and place the mixture on counter tops or window pane. These are just some of the ways you can use these herbal oils, but there are many more.
