Plant Essentials lands on Magnetic Island

Townsville’s own natural health and beauty brand, Plant Essentials, is strengthening its foothold in the ever-growing organic beauty market by adding another local stockist to its list.

Café Nourish on Magnetic Island has been hand-selected by Plant Essentials owner Toni McMahon and her team, because of the synergy in values between the two businesses.

Café Nourish owners Louise Hillyear and Melissa Cornish said the growing demand for organic and natural products on Magnetic Island cemented the decision to become stockists for Plant Essentials.

“There’s definitely a greater awareness of the benefits of organic products among residents and visitors on Magnetic Island than there was when we opened three-and-a-half years ago,” said Ms Hillyear.

“We’ve always placed a strong emphasis on sourcing organic, local produce and retail products and this clearly resonated with Plant Essentials.

“Adding Toni’s hand-crafted products to our range of gifts and remedies will certainly enhance our offering for locals and tourists.

Ms McMahon said adding Café Nourish to her carefully selected list of stockists fit with her vision of Plant Essentials becoming an iconic North Queensland brand.

“I’m committed to working with well-respected businesses that seek to use only local and organic produce, such as Café Nourish. Partnerships such as this will assist in strengthening the reputation of Plant Essentials in the natural beauty market,” Mrs McMahon said.

“By consistently seeking to increase the number of local Plant Essentials stockists while ensuring they follow the natural, organic and local maxims of the business, we are guaranteeing that our brand will continue in Townsville and beyond.”
